QRBot is built by Vidus6, a small independent mobile app studio. We make simple, privacy-respecting utility apps that do one job well.
Who we are
Vidus6 is a mobile app studio founded in 2024. We build focused utility apps for everyday tasks — scanning, security, and productivity — for iPhone, iPad, and Android. QRBot is our all-in-one QR code scanner and generator: it decodes any QR code or barcode in milliseconds and creates custom, branded codes for more than 20 content types.
How we treat your data
Scanning and generation in QRBot run on your device. We don't require an account, we don't log the URLs you open on a server, and Wi-Fi passwords or contacts you encode never leave your phone. Scan history stays on your device, protected by Face ID or PIN if you choose, with optional end-to-end encrypted sync across your own devices.
About QRBot
QRBot is free to download on the App Store and Google Play. The numbers we show on this site — like our store rating — come directly from the app stores and are updated as they change. We'd rather show a small, honest review count than an inflated one.
How we write this site
The guides on our blog are written and reviewed by the Vidus6 team. We only claim product capabilities QRBot actually has, we don't invent statistics, and when a phone's built-in camera is good enough we say so. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it.
